Built for the curious.
bureata’s watch library brings seven watchmakers into one personal reference archive, spanning documented modern and historical watches.
Catalogue coverage
This is an evolving catalogue of 3,753 documented reference entries, across 358 collections. It includes current and discontinued watches where records are available. It is not yet an exhaustive record of every watch ever produced: vintage references, regional editions, bespoke pieces, dial variations and some discontinued families may be missing. Rolex current coverage follows all 1,465 configurations in the accessible official English sitemap at the time of research.
52 entries currently have no available verified photograph; they are clearly labelled in the catalogue. All other watch photographs are stored with the library for reliable loading.

Accuracy review
The existing catalogue was checked against accessible manufacturer records and the cited auction and retailer records on 13 October 2026. Exact-reference specifications take precedence over family-wide assumptions. Where sources disagree, the entry is marked “Source conflict”. Shared source photographs are labelled separately. This is a source review, not a guarantee of every historical variant or a physical authentication of individual watches.
References, not listings
A reference identifies a documented timepiece or variant. The archive also includes explicitly labelled pocket watches, pendant watches and table clocks from the same makers. Each entry links to the source used to establish its reference and photograph. Entries are grouped by model or collection, following the manufacturer’s naming where available. No buying or selling takes place here. Richard Mille records use published RM designations and edition names; the manufacturer does not expose every dealer-style variant SKU. Some early Audemars Piguet entries use historical base model numbers. An auction identifier whose factory reference is unconfirmed is labelled separately in its details.
Current & historical
“Current” follows the observed manufacturer catalogue or model status. Explicitly discontinued models are marked historical; uncertain status is left unconfirmed. “Historical” reflects an archive or evidence of a discontinued reference. Where the record does not establish its era, the library uses “Era not confirmed”. Collections and availability can change. Follow the source for the latest details.
Photography & sources
Watch photographs are sourced from the manufacturer or the cited watch record and remain the property of their respective owners. Photos follow the cited record. Where a source reuses one photograph across several reference numbers, affected entries are labelled “Shared illustration”. A labelled shared illustration cannot confirm the exact appearance of every variant. If a source image becomes unavailable, the entry shows a labelled photo placeholder. This independent library is not affiliated with Chrono24 or any of the seven brands.
